Under contract to Bell Helicopters as per their offset agreement with the Colombian Ministry of Defence related to the sales of helicopters, SSTL International provided training technologies for an aircraft-ditching center in Barranquilla for the Colombian Naval Aviation School (ESCAN), complete with simulators, hoists and environmental effects,
SSTL supported ESCAN in achieving approval from OPITO, an internationally recognised safety training standard for the Oil & Gas industry.
SSTL provides ongoing In Service Support (ISS) to ESCAN by way of annual maintenance visits and recurrency training for HUET instructors and Underwater Egress Training Simulator (UETS) support staff.
